Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40

FJ40 series was produced from 1961-1984. The classic Land Cruiser has two-door
with removable hard and soft top. 3-speed transmission for early models was replaced
in 1947 with a 4-speed and a 5-speed in 1983.
Several engine types were produced for the said models. 3.8-liter 6-cylinder
F engine came to FJ40 models in North America around 1963 while 4.2-liter 2F engine
was produced in 1974. Standard features include Webber carb, OEM lights, hardtop
seal kit, door seals, RTS 31x10 50 R15 wheels and tires and wind shield frames.
The more powerful and stylish 2004 2005 FJ40 is now out in the market. The 3-speed
transmission is increased to 5-speed transmission power produced by a 235-horsepower
V-8 engine.
For comfortable and entertaining rides accessories are added such as heated leather-trimmed
seats and rear-set DVD entertainment system with wireless headphones. It features
the new Supplemental Restraint Systems which include multistage front air bags
with an occupant sensor to determine if the seat is occupied, overhead front side
curtain for added privacy and side-impact air bags to ensure safety.
